How far in advance should I book?
For wedding cakes, we recommend booking 6–12 months in advance to secure your date. For birthday cakes, celebration cakes, and cupcakes, 2–4 weeks’ notice is ideal. We’ll always do our best to accommodate shorter notice if availability allows.
Do you offer consultations or tastings?
Yes. We offer tasting boxes for wedding clients featuring a selection of our signature flavours. These are available for collection or postal delivery. Telephone consultations are available by appointment.
Do you deliver?
Yes. We provide delivery and full setup for wedding cakes across Essex, London, and surrounding areas. Delivery for birthday cakes and cupcakes may be available depending on your location and how busy we are. Collection is recommended.

DMP Cakes operates from Essex and London, serving clients across the South East.

All cakes are individually quoted based on size, design, and delivery requirements
What flavours do you offer?
We offer a variety of flavours, all made using the highest quality ingredients. A full flavour menu is available upon request or during your consultation/tasting.
Do you cater for allergies or dietary requirements?
While we aim to accommodate where possible, all cakes are made in a kitchen that handles gluten, dairy, eggs, nuts, and soya daily. We cannot guarantee any product is free from trace allergens and advise caution for those with severe allergies.
How do I store my cake?
• Buttercream cakes should be refrigerated and brought to room temperature before serving.
• Fondant-covered cakes should be stored in a cool, dark room away from direct sunlight, Refrigeration will cause condensation) Full care instructions will be provided with your cake.
How long will my cake last?
Cakes are best enjoyed within 5 days of collection or delivery. Leftovers can be frozen for up to 3 months — simply wrap well to maintain quality.
Can I send inspiration images?
Yes — you're welcome to share reference images. While we use them for inspiration, we do not replicate other designers’ work. Each DMP cake is bespoke and created with a unique finish tailored to your event.
