How to Look After Your Cake
Transporting Your Cake:
Once you've collected your cake, please place it on a flat surface — ideally in the boot or the passenger footwell of your vehicle. Avoid placing it on a seat, and never secure it with a seatbelt, as this can cause immediate damage to the box and the cake itself.

Once your cake has left our premises, DMP Cakes cannot accept responsibility for any damage incurred during transport or handling. Our cakes are made with fresh buttercream, which can soften or melt in warm temperatures — please take extra care on hot days and avoid direct sunlight.
Safety & Allergens:
Before serving, please remove all decorative items — whether edible or non-edible — as some may be secured with cocktail sticks, wire, or other supports. An ingredient list is provided with your cake; if you or any guests have allergies, please ensure it is reviewed carefully before consumption.
Storage Advice
To maintain freshness, your cake is best stored in the fridge. Before serving, allow it to come to room temperature so the sponge is soft, light, and full of flavour.
If your cake is decorated in fondant, it should be kept in a cool, dark room — not in the fridge — to avoid condensation and preserve the finish. Always keep your cake away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
Your cake is designed to be a standout feature of your celebration — store it carefully so it looks and tastes its best on the day.
We recommend consuming your cake within 5 days. If you have any leftovers, they can be frozen for up to 3 months — simply wrap well to retain quality.

Some cakes have Macarons (MILK,SOYA,ALMONDS,NUTS,EGG) Ferraro Rocher (MILK,SOYA,HAZELNUTS,NUTS) Nutella (MILK,SOYA,HAZELNUTS,NUTS)
All Cakes may contain any of the above allergens as everything is produced in the same enviroment (MILK,WHEAT,SOYA,ALMONDS,HAZELNUTS,NUTS,EGG)
